  • 10 fresh baked flaky croissants

    4 eggs

    1 cup milk

    1 cup heavy cream

    2 tsp cinnamon

    2 tsp sugar

    1 tsp vanilla paste

    ½ cup blueberries

    ½ cup sliced strawberries

    ½ raspberries

    ¼ cup sliced almonds

    1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.

    2. Cut the croissants into 2" cubes, place in a large bowl, and set aside.

    3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, heavy cream, eggs, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla, and add to the bowl with the croissants. Toss very well, and let this sit for 15 minutes to soak.

    4. In a buttered 9"x13" baking dish, add half of the croissant mix.

    5. Add half of the blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries.

    6. Layer the rest of the croissants, and berries in the baking dish.

    7. Cover with foil and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    8. Uncover, sprinkle the sliced almonds and bake uncovered for 15 minutes.

    9. Serve with maple syrup, fresh berries and dust with powdered sugar.

  • You can substitute the almonds with any other nut, like pecans or walnuts. I also like to add chocolate chips at times.
